Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Family Birth Center. This full-time role runs 7:00am–7:30pm, 36 hours weekly, in a Trauma Level III facility, delivering comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, documentation, patient teaching, and potential Charge Nurse duties. External candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 upon meeting agreement terms.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in WA is required.
• Prior acute care nursing experience is preferred.
• BLS (HCP) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
• Implements care per policies and care plans with consistency and accuracy.
• Documents in patient charts per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates patient and family rights and effective delegation when applicable.
• May function as Charge Nurse to coordinate staff and patient care as needed.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Current Washington State RN Licensure

Experience as an acute care RN preferred; 1 year for specialty areas

Ability to perform primary RN functions (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)

BLS with Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire
