Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Staff RN to provide direct patient care in a high-demand obstetrics unit. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and supervise staff while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes medication administration, patient education, and inter-professional collaboration. Strong leadership, communication, and stress-management skills are essential, with postpartum and labor/delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience in hospital RN preferred.
• BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• PAL required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage safety, stress, and provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Supervise other healthcare staff as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor patient health.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with the healthcare team.
