Job summary

Paycom in Flowood, MS seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, assess patients, develop care plans, and support physicians. You will document data, monitor patients, and participate in procedures with safety and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, has hospital experience (gastroenterology preferred), exemplary communication, and the ability to coordinate care across teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• RN degree required from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license and BLS certification required.
• Experience in gastroenterology and IV placement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient consent for procedures and ensures confidentiality; collects health history and vital signs.
• Documents patient assessment data using medical records and systems.
• Maintains and reviews patient records and ensures appropriate follow-up of patients.
• Responds to incoming procedure-related calls and supports physicians during procedures.
• Provides pre- and post-procedure teaching and monitors patient condition; uses assessment skills to guide care.
• Attends department meetings and in-services and performs other duties as assigned.
