Job summary

Healthier-Mississippi-People-LLC is seeking an RN to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an assigned clinical area in Flowood, MS. The role coordinates patient scheduling, records, admissions, and service referrals while counseling patients and families.

The RN will liaise with case managers and home health teams, participate in councils or projects to improve care, and uphold safety and quality standards in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing care procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatments and interventions for patients.
• Educates patients and families on condition, care, medications and adherence.
• Ensures patient safety and coordinates referrals to other services.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates admissions and scheduling.
• Acts as a liaison between case managers, home health, utilization review, and related teams.
• Serves on committees or task forces to improve patient care and work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
