Robinson Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Stamford, NY is seeking an RN Evening Supervisor to oversee patient care and staff scheduling from 3pm to 11pm. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, shift differential, and additional incentives.

The RN will help maintain a compassionate, safe environment and ensure high standards of care for residents. Requirements include current NYS RN licensure and at least one year of LTC or medical/surgical experience.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Evening Supervisor to join our team in Stamford, NY. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health by overseeing the day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patient service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual patients, as well as others in a position to understand service needs
• Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
• Provide information to patients and the healthcare team by answering questions and addressing requests
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies, enforcing medication administration, and ensuring compliance with controlled substance regulations
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records
• Oversee medical and administrative equipment by verifying the availability of emergency equipment, completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating repairs
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving

Requirements:

• Current NYS RN Licensure
• Minimum one year of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings (preferred)
