Job summary

Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland, NY is seeking an experienced RN Evening Supervisor to provide clinical oversight and leadership on the Mon.-Fri. 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM shift.

You will supervise nursing staff, support CNAs, and ensure high-quality care for residents in a 200-bed facility. The role emphasizes staff mentorship, regulatory compliance, timely communication with physicians and families, and ongoing collaboration with the nursing leadership team.

Qualifications

• RN leader with clinical oversight and staff support.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to lead staff professionally and calmly.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and supervisory oversight for 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM shift.
• Support nurses and CNAs with resident care needs, change-in-condition concerns, and clinical decision-making.
• Ensure timely physician/provider notification, family communication, and appropriate documentation.
• Monitor resident care, safety, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and acute changes in condition.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and positive communication among staff.
• Ensure assignments are completed and resident needs are met throughout the shift.
• Provide coaching, education, and support to nursing staff.
• Communicate shift concerns, staffing needs, and clinical issues to nursing leadership.

Job Summary:

Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 200-bed skilled nursing facility located in Cortland, New York, is seeking a reliable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Evening Supervisor on our Mon.-Friday 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM shift. As an experienced nurse leader, you will provide clinical oversight, supervision, and support to our nursing staff while ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
