Job summary

King Manor Care and Rehabilitation Center in Neptune Township, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver advanced nursing care on the unit and support clinical needs. This role emphasizes independent working, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and leadership in care planning and discharge coordination.

Compensation ranges from $42 to $45 per hour, with full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules and benefits including health, retirement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
• Active RN licensure valid in New Jersey.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a pivotal member of a healthcare team.
• TB screening and health checks required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical role model in the delivery of advanced care, utilizing the nursing process to manage complex clinical cases.
• Demonstrate, teach, and support advanced nursing skills utilized in direct resident care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate complex resident care goals and clinical protocols.
• Provide expert clinical input in developing and implementing comprehensive discharge and transition plans for residents and families.
• Manage the daily clinical flow of the assigned unit, ensuring a professional, evidence-based standard of care.
• Conduct routine shift meetings to disseminate clinical data, establish unit protocols, and evaluate daily operational effectiveness.
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities, review medical records, and ensure adherence to all codes.
• Guarantee that residents and families receive high-quality care with respect for rights and dignity.
