Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. You will provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, perform rapid triage, initiate treatment protocols and participate in life-saving interventions.

The role requires ED or acute care experience, RN licensure in the state, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor rhythms, and educate patients and families on discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessment and assign acuity.
• Complete focused and ongoing assessments across all age groups.
• Initiate and carry out emergency treatment protocols, including medications and IV therapy.
• Participate in resuscitation events, including Code Blue, stroke, sepsis and trauma activations.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patients for deterioration, escalating promptly.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation and provide discharge or transfer instructions.

Job Summary

Provides emergency nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Performs rapid triage and assessment, initiates treatment protocols, and delivers care during resuscitation and other life-threatening emergencies. Prepares patients for admission, transfer or discharge with appropriate education and follow-up instruction.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
