Job summary

Hudson Regional Health in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional care in the Emergency Department across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will triage safely, coordinate care with multiple disciplines, and manage patient flow with minimal supervision.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 1 year, and at least 1 year ED nursing experience. Full-time daytime shifts, rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current RN New Jersey State license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS and/or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• At least 1 year RN ED work experience.

Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provies direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. The ability to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the ED. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the department.

• The ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Demonstrate the ability to use equipment specific to the Emergency Department.

What We're Looking For

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse New Jersey State license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS and/or, ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• At least 1-year RN ED work experience in a hospital setting is required to qualify for the $10,000 sign-on bonus.
• Full-time, Day shift. 7am to 7:30pm. Rotational Weekend Saturday and Sunday.
