Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Wisconsin. The RN will provide emergency care with strong assessment and clinical skills, handling trauma, pediatrics, sepsis, STEMI, stroke, sedation, and resuscitations.

Expect 12-hour shifts, variable hours, and a supportive team including physicians, mid-level providers, and nurses. Prior ER experience and ability to manage frequent codes and critical situations are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years ER/acute care experience.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required.
• Experience with trauma, pediatrics, sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and resuscitations.

Responsibilities

Description:The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in an emergency setting.The role requires strong assessment and clinical skills due to the varied nature of emergency medicine.Nurse-patient ratios are typically 1 to 4 or 1 to 5.The department treats a wide range of diagnoses and patient complaints, including trauma and acute illnesses.The nurse may be tasked with triage duties.Interaction with both physicians and mid-level providers is commonplace.The charge nurse will take an assignment and oversee care in the department.Staffing may include aides, EMTs, paramedics, or patient sitters, depending on daily needs.Respiratory therapy is present but may not be available at all times.Registered nurses will need to perform lab draws and read cardiac monitor strips.Weekend and holiday shifts are required, as well as potential floating to support other units.The dress code for the unit is navy blue scrubs.This position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure patient safety and quality care.
