Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a Registered Nurse for the ER/P4 Trauma Center in South Charleston, WV. This night shift contract covers 36 hours per week with rotating weekends/holidays as needed.

Ideal candidates have critical care experience, travel nursing background, and hold BLS/ACLS/PALS. TNCC preferred by 10/21/2025.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Night shift, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a P4 trauma center that provides specialized care including STEMI and stroke management. You will be working in an emergency department with 28 beds, 2 of which are designated trauma/code rooms. The facility utilizes a Fast Track system in the Pit area and includes a dedicated triage area. Patient management includes a diverse population across all age groups, while common diagnoses include sepsis, trauma, and overdose cases.

Responsibilities

• Administer critical care drips including TPA, sedation, and paralytics.
• Conduct procedures for traumatic injuries and various medical emergencies.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using bedside monitors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including in-house security and respiratory therapists available 24/7.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and patient management.

Required Experience

Experience in critical care settings is preferred. Candidates must have prior travel experience along with the ability to manage cardiac dysrhythmias and critical drips.

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
