Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for a busy Emergency Room in Overland Park, Kansas. This 13-week contract involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care for adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic ER setting. Ideal candidates will manage cardiac monitoring and IV therapy, while having the opportunity to float across departments.

Candidates must possess a valid RN license and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. First-time ER nurses are welcome to apply, with a guaranteed 3 shifts per week totaling approximately 36 hours.

Your expertise will be vital in managing cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction, and ventilated patients. You’ll also handle IV therapy, central line management, and work with various emergency medications. The position offers the opportunity to float within scope across ER departments as needed, with a focus on providing top-tier patient care during night hours. First-time ER nurses are welcome to apply, and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC are required, with CPI and MAB preferred. Expect to work a guaranteed 3 shifts per week, totaling approximately 36 hours, with a mix of shift coverage including holiday and weekend requirements.
