Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking an experienced ER nurse for a 13-week contract in Marshfield, Wisconsin. You will triage, manage high-acuity cases, and administer critical therapies in a Level 2 trauma center, collaborating with a broad ED team to deliver exceptional patient care during night shifts.

Expect a fast-paced environment with 140–180 daily patients, providing opportunities to deepen trauma expertise and Cerner proficiency while joining a dedicated clinical team in Wisconsin nights.

Qualifications

• Experience as an ER nurse in a high-volume setting.
• Familiarity with trauma and pediatric care is preferred.
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Triaging incoming patients in the ER.
• Managing complex cases such as chest pain, sepsis, and syncope.
• Administering drips including Heparin, Nitroglycerin, and Amiodarone.
• Collaborating with ED physicians, mid-level providers, and a team of techs, EMTs, and paramedics.
• Providing high-quality patient care with attention to trauma and pediatric needs.

Join our team as an emergency room nurse at a bustling Level 2 trauma center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment with an average of 140-180 patients treated daily. You’ll be responsible for triaging incoming patients, managing complex cases such as chest pain, sepsis, and syncope, and administering a variety of drips including Heparin, Nitroglycerin, and Amiodarone. The shift is 12 hours at night, working a schedule that allows you to experience the serenity of Wisconsin nights and the vibrant energy of the ER. You’ll collaborate with dedicated ED physicians, mid-level providers, and a team of techs, EMTs, and paramedics, providing high-quality patient care in a busy setting that values proficiency in pediatric experience, trauma care, and Cerner systems.
