Responsibilities

• Work in Emergency Department of a critical access hospital.
• Float to Medical‑Surgical areas as needed.
• Maintain patient ratios around 2:1 and monitor COPD, diabetes, CHF, and trauma cases.
• Manage medication preparation in absence of in‑house pharmacy.

Description:Nurse needed to work in a critical access hospital setting.This role involves working in the Emergency Department and floating to Medical-Surgical areas as needed.The facility has 15 beds, serving birth to geriatric patients.Patient care ratios are 2:1.Common patient conditions include COPD, Diabetes, CHF, Cardiac issues, and Trauma.Experience with telemetry equipment is required.The EMR system used is Cerner.There is no in-house pharmacy; the RN is responsible for mixing medications.Candidates will interview with the manager for consideration.
