Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. The role is in a general ED with both adult and pediatric patients, requiring night shifts (19:00–07:30) and every other weekend.

You will assess patients, provide treatments, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate holds an active PA or compact license, 2+ years in ED, and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications; TNCC preferred and experience with isolation precautions and triage

Qualifications

• Active PA or compact nursing license required.
• Minimum 2 years in an emergency department.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MAB, and PALS are required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with isolation precautions and triage necessary.
• Trauma Center experience preferred.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a general emergency department setting. The nurse will work in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department and will be responsible for assessing patients, providing treatments, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Perform emergency interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
