Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week contract at a Level II trauma community hospital in Concord, CA. The ER handles over 45,000 patients annually with a 30+ bed capacity.

Trauma experience is essential, pediatric experience strongly preferred. Shifts are 12-hour rotating, evenings/nights, with start times 3 PM, 5 PM, or 7 PM, and every other weekend rotation. California RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• California RN License (CA EMSA compliance required).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (attach certification copies upon submission).
• Experience with pediatric patients is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
• Assist in triaging patients based on acuity and census.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain EMR documentation accuracy, preferably using Epic.
