Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Bay City, Michigan on a 13-week contract. The RN coordinates total nursing care in the ED, educates patients and families, and leads by collaborating with the care team.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years ED experience, Michigan RN license, and certifications ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and BLS. Schedule includes 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with every third weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates total nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, engaging in patient and family education, and providing leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel. The RN is responsible for upholding professional nursing standards within the clinical setting and recognizing that each patient is a unique individual entitled to quality nursing care. They ensure mutual goal setting with patients, respect patient rights, and maintain privacy. The RN is accountable to the ethical and professional standards set by various nursing organizations and the State of Michigan's Public Health code.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Participate in patient and family education initiatives.
