Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a dedicated nurse for the EP Lab position at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours 6:30am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Travel is not required.

You will assess patients, coordinate care, and educate patients and families. Required qualifications include an Associate's or BSN, Illinois licensure, CPR and ACLS, and EP Lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• 1 year EP Lab experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and healthcare team in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice via quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October 2026.

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL

• Full time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/week

• Hours: 6:30am ? 5:00pm (Scheduled Monday ? Friday)

• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.

• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.

• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.

• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.

• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing

• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois

• 1 year of EP Lab experience highly preferred

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association

• ACLS certification
