Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology to join our EP Lab team for a 13-week assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. The ideal candidate has 24 months of EP case experience, including cardiac ablation and CRM, plus familiarity with anticoagulation management and EPIC CUPID EMR.

Scrub experience is preferred and shifts are 4 days a week (36 hours total). Candidates must hold a valid nursing license and a BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months in Electrophysiology with experience in cardiac ablation, CRM, and LAAO.
• Experience with anticoagulation medications and isuprel is required.
• Familiarity with EPIC CUPID EMR and SCRUB experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the EP Lab for electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist during cardiac ablation and CRM procedures as needed.
• Manage drip and titration of anticoagulation medications per protocol.

Experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management, and left atrial appendage occlusion is required.

Candidates should have experience in drip and titration of anticoagulation medications, including isuprel.

Familiarity with EPIC CUPID EMR is necessary.

Scrub experience is highly preferred.

Candidates are expected to work 4 days a week for 36 hours total.

This position does not require weekend or on-call shifts.

There is a requirement to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
