Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks an experienced EP lab scrub tech for a travel-friendly role in a high-volume ablation lab. You will scrub and circulate EP procedures, including leadless pacemakers, ensuring patient safety and equipment readiness.

Qualifications include 2+ years in EP labs, BLS/ACLS, and EPIC system familiarity. The role may require sporadic floats to support other hospital areas during pandemics or staffing surges.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience.
• First-time travelers welcome if experience requirements are met.
• Ability to scrub and circulate EP cases, including leadless pacemakers.

Responsibilities

• Scrub devices and circulate EP procedures in a high-volume ablation lab.
• Support Cath Lab staff; assist in Cath Holding Room when needed.
• May float to other hospital areas during a pandemic or surge.

Job description

Shift

5x8s Days, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday

No call is required.

There is a late day rotation, which may require staying past 5:30 PM to complete a case.

No weekend shifts are needed.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

First-time travelers are welcome if they meet the experience level requirements.

Job Requirements

We operate a high-volume ablation lab where scrubbing, knowledge, and experience with ablations and related equipment are essential.

Ability to scrub devices, including leadless pacemakers, is necessary.

Certifications and Skills

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC system
• Ability to scrub electrophysiology (EP) cases
• Familiarity with EP equipment

Additional Responsibilities

• May be required to float to support other hospital areas during a pandemic.
• May assist in the Cath Holding Room by pulling sheaths and supporting staff.

Procedures and Scheduling

EP procedures include scrubbing and circulating; monitoring is not required for travelers.

Scheduling is typically done in blocks but may vary based on unit needs.

Scrubs will be provided.
