Job summary

Riverdale Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to oversee nursing care for residents. The candidate will supervise LPNs and CNAs, assess resident needs, and collaborate with the DON and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, a collaborative leadership style, and active involvement in care planning and quality improvement initiatives within a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in GA required.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing preferred.
• Ability to supervise LPNs and CNAs and lead care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assists Director of Nursing with staffing decisions and onboarding of new staff.
• Provide clinical leadership to plan, organize, direct and implement nursing programs.
• Guide the team to meet organizational and center goals.
• Coordinate with DON and CNA/medical staff for compliant care delivery.
• Initiate and participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• Ensure care plans address triggered indicators and driver quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines to monitor resident status and progress.
• Communicate effectively with diverse disciplines.
• Prepare QM/QI reports from RAI/MDS and track trends to drive improvements.
• Actively participate in Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement educational plans for staff development.

Riverdale Healthcare - Riverdale Center for Nursing and Healing is Hiring a Every Other Weekend RN Supervisor!

We're seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to be responsible for supervising the delivery of care to our residents. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise both LPNs and CNAs.

Some of the RN Supervisor Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing – Recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hire and orients professional staff.




• Clinical Leadership – the RN Supervisor Works with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct and implement a comprehensive nursing program




• Provides Nursing Leadership in order to meet goals of the organization and the individual center




• Works with the DON to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNA and professional medical staff.




• Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.




• The RN Supervisor Ensures the Interdisciplinary Care Plan addresses all triggered indicators.




• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.




• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other disciplines




• Prepares accurate reports of the Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS. Performs tracks and trends of this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.




• Active involvement in Quality Improvement.




• Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.

Requirements:

• RN Licensed in the State of GA
