Job Summary and Qualifications

Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA, the RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for patients requiring care in the endoscopy lab. It will include individualized, family-centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care. Part of a team that assists in the entire endoscopy lab experience.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas or a valid compact license.
• Associate Degree is required; Bachelor Degree is preferred.
