Job Summary and Qualifications

Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA, the RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for patients requiring care in the endoscopy lab. This includes providing individualized, family-centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care. The RN will be part of a team assisting throughout the entire endoscopy lab experience.

Qualifications needed:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license in Texas or a compact license.
• Associate Degree required; Bachelor Degree preferred.
