Job summary

NCH Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Inpatient unit in Naples, FL. This full-time position follows a 10‑hour day schedule and requires independent planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care per standards and procedures.

You will provide direct patient care, participate in unit quality improvement, and support anesthetic processes during procedures. On-call responsibilities and efficient charting are essential to the role.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy nursing experience or strong specialty training.
• Proficiency in patient assessment and plan of care.
• Ability to respond to urgent events and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with minimally invasive endoscopy procedures and related adjuncts.
• Support anesthesia during intubation/extubation.
• Provide direct nursing care and teaching to patients.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain scopes, equipment, and supplies; ensure readiness for procedures.
• Serve as preceptor/mentor to new staff and students.
• Respond to after-hours calls and coordinate with the procedural team.
