Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a RN for Endoscopy to cover a 13-week assignment in a Texas facility. The role is day shift, 8-hour blocks, with a minimum of 1 year nursing experience and an active RN license. BLS certification is required.

Endoscopy knowledge is essential for success in this unit. The team operates three Endoscopy rooms with a 1:1 RN-to-Endo Tech/patient ratio and uses Olympus scopes with MediTech EMR.

Description:Flexible depending on the scheduled case start times.The unit has 3 Endoscopy rooms and is staffed by 12 team members.The team consists of a Charge RN, RN Circulators, Endo Techs, Pre-op RNs, and PACU RNs.There is a patient ratio of 1:1 with an RN and Endo Tech for each Endoscopy room.Equipment used includes Olympus Scopes and EndoSoft, with a transition to new systems.The EMR system is MediTech.Candidates must possess endoscopy knowledge to be considered for this role.Preferred candidates will also be team players with good communication skills.Typical procedures performed in this unit include EGD and Colonoscopy.Scrub color is blue, and specific dress guidelines must be followed.This position requires participation in on-call duties.The unit boasts a 97% employee satisfaction rate.The staff is composed of a great group of techs and nurses who have been working together for an extended period.New colleagues are welcomed into a collaborative environment.Some doctors have utilized the unit for over 20 years.
