Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Procedural Specialty in New York on a 13-week contract. The RN will float between Pre-Anesthesia and PACU, manage patients with diverse procedures, and complete mandatory competencies including phlebotomy and IV placements.

Responsibilities include administering conscious sedation, performing endoscopic procedures like EUS, ERCP, and navigational bronchoscopy, monitoring patients before and after procedures, and accurate EPIC charting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a procedural or acute care setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Active New York state nursing license required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.

Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 08:00 to 18:30, varying days off based on department needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a procedural setting and is expected to float between Pre-Anesthesia and PACU as needed. The position involves managing patients with diagnoses including pancreatic, lung, colon, gastric cancer, as well as other procedural cases. RNs will need to complete mandatory competencies with phlebotomy and IV placements.
