Job summary

Saint Joseph London invites experienced Registered Nurses to join our 150-bed hospital in Kentucky. As an RN, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, skilled procedures, and coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited nursing school.
• BSN required: all ADN hires must obtain BSN within five years of start date and enroll within two years of start date.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Kentucky at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills for patient care in the identified setting.
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems using critical thinking to determine need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions.
• Implements and/or modifies plan of care with assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice; includes nursing coordination, patient/family education, and discharge planning.
• Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies and procedures.
• Evaluates progress toward achieving desired patient outcomes.
