Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced ER nurse to join our on-site Tulare, CA team. You will provide urgent care in a busy ER, triage patients, administer medications, and ensure safety and infection control standards. Strong documentation in electronic health records and collaboration with physicians are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with state registration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications for ER support.
• Minimum 2 years ER or acute care nursing experience.
• Proficiency in ED triage, protocols and rapid assessment.
• Ability to document in electronic health records with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to acutely ill or injured patients in the ER.
• Assess patient condition, triage, and prioritize treatment needs under ED protocols.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to orders.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety and quality improvement standards.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff to streamline patient flow.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to advance clinical skills.
• Assist in care coordination for patient handoffs to inpatient units or discharge planning.
• Operate and troubleshoot ER equipment; recognize and upscale equipment failures.
• Contribute to performance metrics by accurately documenting outcomes and timelines.
• Support bedside care within a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Maintain professional appearance of work area and ensure patient privacy and dignity.

Experience/Qualifications
