Job Description

This role acts as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effective delegation, direction, and assistance to licensed and ancillary team members. The nurse assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes, demonstrates sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and actively participates in achieving unit and departmental goals. The role requires professional responsibility and accountability, supporting the company's nursing philosophy.

Education
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Work Experience
  • Required: None.
Certifications
  • Required: Current RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, CPI certification within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within 90 days.
  • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and software.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment and interpersonal skills.
