As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will provide professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients, collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members, and perform activities in accordance with policies and guidelines. You will supervise and delegate duties to ancillary personnel.
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Required Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 3 months), PALS (within 3 months), Handle with care (within 4 months).
Licenses: Current RN license in NC or multi-state (compact).
Work Experience: 1-3 years, with recent acute care experience preferred.
