Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Supervise and delegate duties to ancillary personnel.
• Perform triage, recognize critical presentations, and use appropriate bags.
• Understand medication reconciliation, IV starts, and blood collection.
• Assess and address patient and family needs promptly.
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient education.
• Practice safe medication administration and document responses.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision skills.
• Ability to work under stress and take appropriate actions.

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS, ACLS (within 3 months), PALS (within 3 months), Handle with Care (within 4 months).
• Current RN license in NC or multi-state (compact).

Experience:

1-3 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
