$20,000 Sign-On Bonus | Up to $54.00/hour + Night & Weekend Differentials

Full-Time Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department.

Join our team of experienced RN’s, providers, and techs who work seamlessly to provide exceptional care to our patients. We believe in a better way to provide healthcare, where nurses enjoy meaningful work and patient-centered teams transform lives. Our Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art, 16-bed unit.

As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will:

  • Perform nursing patient care duties under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director.
  • Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care according to our patient care philosophy.
  • Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
  • Ensure effective communication with other shifts for continuity of care and maintain good relations with other departments.
  • Participate in all phases of staff education.

Additionally, you will:

  • Identify problems and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Perform interventions such as specimen collection, wound care, and medication administration. Document all patient care activities.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with the healthcare team and families.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment, working with minimal supervision.
  • Work effectively in stressful environments and respond appropriately.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS within 6 months of hire.
  • Handle with Care Certification within 6 months.
  • Valid RN licensure in Georgia.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months of RN experience in a direct patient care setting, unless entering the Nurse Residency Program.
