Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a part-time RN for the Emergency Department to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across all ages. Under the Clinical Manager, you will apply the nursing process to infants through geriatrics in acute and chronic changes, with opportunities for growth to Level II.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, current GA RN license (or multi-state via eNLC), BLS CPR, and preferred ACLS/PALS/TNCC. Weekend availability is required.

Every time.****JOB SUMMARY**Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, utilizes the nursing process in the care of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing both acute and chronic changes in the normal health process. Demonstrates professional growth and development by assuming Clinical Manager responsibilities as requested and/or in preparation for advancement of Level II.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****Education:** Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN as evidenced by primary source verification.**Licensure:** Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.American Heart Association BLS CPR required.ACLS, PALS, Basic Arrhythmia, Moderate/Deep Sedation and TNCC preferred.**Experience:** One year of experience in an acute health care setting preferred.**Skills:**Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.## **PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS**Works in typical acute health care setting with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who are experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
