Job summary

Trinity Health's MacNeal Hospital is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Emergency Department. This night shift role emphasizes patient-centered care across a wide range of diagnoses in a Level II trauma environment.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN).
• BLS Provider certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois nursing license required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to diverse ED cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and patient care plans.
• Support ongoing staff education and participate in residency/transition programs for new grads.
• Assist in coordinating patient flow and contribute to shift coverage.

We are Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). We support an acuity-based staffing model in our fast-paced environment and provide care to a wide range of patients allowing our RN's to grow and gain valuable experience.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:

• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.97 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
