Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the 4NW ICU Medicine Unit and the Medical-Surgical floor. This full-time role offers day and night shifts, cross-training opportunities in critical care, and a supportive, mission-driven environment.

The RN will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing professional development and residency programs.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or ADN).
• BLS Provider certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois nursing license must be active prior to hire.
• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on the 4NW ICU Medicine Unit and Medical-Surgical floors.
• Provide high-quality nursing care and collaborate with the care team.
• Support cross-training opportunities in critical care and participate in professional development.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: This is a FT Medical-Surgical RN position. The RN will also have the opportunity to cross-train in the critical care unit. There are Day shift and Night shift positions available. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our 4NW ICU Medicine Unit at Loyola University Medical Center. Our nurses are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting one another in a collaborative, team-focused environment. This unit offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population while expanding critical care and medical-surgical nursing skills. The 4NW Medicine Unit includes 16 beds: 8 MICU beds and 8 Med Surg beds, caring for patients with diagnoses which including sepsis/septic shock, acute respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, liver failure, and GI bleeds. Our team is supported by a Clinical Nurse Specialist focused on nursing excellence, quality improvement, and professional development. What Registered Nurse RN will need:

• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
• 1 Year of Inpatient Nursing Experience is Required

Compensation:

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour ADN Pay Range: $32.97 - $57.06 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
