Job summary

Required are RN licensure in the state, BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines. Strong communication, organization, and team leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification as required by the role.
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: certification in a clinical specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources on the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilizes data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Embraces practices that enhance patient satisfaction and staff morale.
• Adapts care to the patient population with respect for privacy and cultural considerations.
