Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN license in state of practice is required
• Current Life Support Certification (BLS) from American Heart Association
• CPI Certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• PALS within 90 days of hire
• Preferred certification in a clinical specialty area

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching for patients and families
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes
• Supports customer satisfaction and employee morale in nursing
• Adapts care to diverse patient populations while respecting privacy
