Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway in Frisco, TX is opening a new hospital facility offering comprehensive emergency, inpatient, procedural, and maternity services. The RN will oversee patient care under a professional practice model, perform assessments, create and adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Requirements include 2 years of recent ED experience in acute care, trauma center and triage training, and Texas Nursing Practice Act

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in Texas.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Two years ED experience in acute care, trauma center and triage training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Prioritize patient and family needs and adjust plans accordingly.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and staff; document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks to the care team and follow up on progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, effective patient care.
