Job summary

Baylor Frisco Medical Center in Frisco, TX is seeking a full-time ED RN to plan, direct, and coordinate emergency care for patients of all ages, delivering safe, high-quality nursing services in accordance with hospital standards.

You will perform direct patient care, triage emergencies, administer medications, update care plans, document care in MediTech, and support sedation when needed. Requires state RN license, 3+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Minimum of three years ER RN experience.
• Texas RN license active.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS or ENPC required within 90 of employment.
• Strong communication and nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct RN care in the ED according to hospital policies.
• Assess psychosocial, educational, and physical needs across ages.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and triage patients.
• Develop and prioritize care plans to meet goals.
• Deliver medications with safety and monitoring.
• Document care following hospital policies.
• Support MediTech registration, orders, and discharge printing.
• Assist with moderate sedation as needed.
