Avita Health System – Avita Bucyrus Hospital in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a part-time basis. This role offers a commitment bonus up to $5,000 and night shifts (7p-7a).

Provide professional ED nursing care, coordinate with the care team, prioritize patient needs, and communicate changes in status to ED physicians. Ohio RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/TNCC preferred within timelines.

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license.
Current BLS Certification.
ACLS within 3 months of hire.
PALS within 6 months of hire.
TNCC within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
Coordinate care planning with interdisciplinary teams.
Prioritize patient needs based on condition and flow.
Communicate changes in patient status to ED physicians.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our EmergencyDepartment at our Bucyrus location.

Position Overview

Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Required:

Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS Certification.
ACLS certified within 3 months of hire.
PALS within 6 months of hire.
TNCC within one year of hire.

Preferred:

1 – 2 years Registered Nurse experience within the last 24months.
