Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Applicants must possess an Associate's in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor's, and current RN licensure. ACLS/BLS/PALS/NIHSS are required, with Cerner or EPIC EMR experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• RN with 1+ year ER experience in the past 12 months
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications are required
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and collect health data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with safety and protocol adherence.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
