PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) (Old) in Skowhegan, ME is seeking an Emergency Department RN to provide expert observation, assessment and treatment for patients of all ages requiring emergency, urgent or non-urgent care. You will coordinate total nursing care, educate patients and families, and lead in collaboration with ED doctors and the patient care team.
The position is full time with a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.
The Emergency Department RN is a professional who displays expertise in observation, assessment and treatment of patients of all ages that require emergency, urgent or non-urgent treatment. Using the nursing process, the Emergency Department RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the Emergency Department providers and other patient team members.
Status: Full time, variable shift with rotating weekend and holidays.
Qualities: This vibrant and forward-thinking RN will possess strong critical thinking, flexibility and communication skills. The ability to work independently but also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing patient-centered care is a must.
Requirements:Must hold current Maine RN current with BLS, IV certification and ACLS
The pay range for this position is $35.17 to $60.42 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
