Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie, FL, is seeking an RN to join the Emergency Department.

You will provide direct nursing care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate discharge planning during night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with possible weekends and holidays. Applicants should be graduates of an accredited nursing program, possess RN licensure, and hold or be prepared to obtain BLS; ACLS and PALS are preferred within one year of hire.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS Certification within one year of hire (or sooner).
• TNCC/ENPC coursework within specified timeframe.

A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM, which may include weekends and holidays.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide direct nursing care.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon or within one year of hire
• Completion of a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon or within two years of hire
• One year of current acute care/Emergency Department RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
