Requirements:
2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience. Also, documenting travel experience.
Current AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC

Unit Specifics:
Common patient diagnosis: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Resp Failure
Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
Patients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds , 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych
Duties
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting to the ER, including vital signs and medical history.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Perform emergency procedures such as suturing, airway management, and tube feeding when necessary.
* Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition.
* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
