Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring registered nurses to join our patient-centered team delivering world-class care with compassion and connection.

We offer a full-time, 36-hour weekly schedule (three 12-hour shifts, including night shifts). Eligible external hires may receive an up to $10,000 signing bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Alaska RN license required upon hire and additional certifications as listed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days.
• Nursing experience for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, world-class nursing care.
• Deliver care with understanding, commitment and mutual respect.
• Adhere to safety and clinical standards and participate in care coordination.

Hours:

Full Time 36-hour weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts weekly Night SHifts

Up to $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: A\ACLSAHA_US - Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: P\PALSAHA_US - Provider PALS - American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Trauma Nursing Core Course - Emergency Nurses Association
• 1 year Nursing experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
