Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a full-time registered nurse for a 36-hour weekly schedule consisting of three 12-hour night shifts. A $10,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires who meet qualification requirements.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Alaska RN licensure at hire, and completion of BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines. A Trauma Nursing Core Course is expected within six months of hire.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: A\ACLSAHA_US - Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Within 90 days of hire: P\PALSAHA_US - Provider PALS - American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Trauma Nursing Core Course - Emergency Nurses Association
• 1 year Nursing experience.
