Job summary

Saint Joseph Jessamine is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care within a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes critical thinking, thorough patient assessments, and coordination of care with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and positive outcomes.

The position offers up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $24,000 in student loan assistance, with requirements including an accredited Diploma of Nursing, KY RN license, and ACLS/PALS/TNCC

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited program; RN license in Kentucky required or upon hire.
• CPR certification required; ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems using critical thinking to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
• Implements and/or modifes plan of care with nursing care coordination, patient/family education, and discharge planning; facilitates interdisciplinary partnership.
• Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice while protecting patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.
