Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

A full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse opportunity is available at ahospital in Panama City, Florida. This facility features a 44-bed Emergency Department and is recognized for its Advanced Primary Stroke Care certification, Comprehensive Breast Care Center accreditation, and designation as the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. The hospital is also home to the region's only Pediatric Emergency Department, Level III NICU, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, offering a dynamic and rewarding emergency care environment.

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages presenting with a wide variety of medical conditions, from minor illnesses and injuries to life‑threatening emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, exceptional multitasking abilities, and the flexibility to continually reassess priorities in a fast‑paced setting. • Associate Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
