The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and several certifications (NIH Stroke Scale, CPI, TNCC, ACLS; PALS optional). Prior acute-care experience is preferred to handle diverse ER cases effectively.

Qualifications

• In-state Florida RN license or multistate license with Florida endorsement within 60 days.
• BLS-AHA card required within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Nursing or RN diploma.
• Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, CPI, TNCC, ACLS; PALS optional with 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in ER.
• Develop plan to meet expected outcomes for each patient.
• Coordinate care with physicians and hospital departments.
• Provide ongoing nursing care and prioritization for multiple cases.
• Provide post-visit instructions and referrals as needed.
• Maintain safety and patient-focused care at all times.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room RN to join our team. To be successful in this role you must be a quick thinker, decision‑maker, and multitasker, with a willingness to adapt to whatever the day may bring. In this role you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
• Provide follow‑up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
• Coordinate functions with physicians and other hospital departments, while being patient‑focused and safety aware at all times.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS‑AHA provider‑issued card required within 30 days of start.
• Associate Degree, RN in an acute‑care environment is preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• TNCC certification required within 1 year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor or certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Diploma acceptable.
• At least 1 year of experience; PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS instructor certification within 6 months of employment start date.
