Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in delivering patient care using the nursing process. MHHS hires RNs by experience level (RN I <1 year, RN II = 1-3 years, RN III = 3-10 years, RN IV = 10+ years).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Active Texas RN license or temporary/compact license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements.

Responsabilités

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to nursing skills inventory and patient age/needs.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Directs and may delegate to healthcare team; develops discharge/transfer plans.
• Participates in systemic evaluation of programs, process improvement and outcomes.
• Considers diverse patient needs across the continuum of care and maintains service quality.
• Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Supports professional growth by meeting continuing education requirements and acting as preceptor or mentor.
• Models Memorial Hermann service standards to provide safe, caring, personalized and efficient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
